The commercial airliner Boeing 737-800 is a representative of the NG (Next Generation) family of Boeing 737 aircraft. The aircraft has replaced the model 737-400 and differs with new wings, tail, digital cockpit and quieter engines with more fuel efficiency (CFM56-7).
The Boeing 737-800 has been operating with airlines since April 1998, and as 2017 it is still in production with over 600 open orders. The model 800 is the most popular type among all aircraft of the 737 Next Generation.
