Since 1893 the famed mail ships have provided a daily service along the impressive fjord coast of Norway. Since 2003, the MS Midnatsol (Midnight Sun), a passenger and Ro-Ro ship has been part of the Hurtigruten fleet. However she can also be used as a military hospital ship for 200 patients.
