No. 29 Squadron 100th Anniversary
Advanced fighters like the Eurofighter Typhoon would have blown the minds of RAF No. 29 Squadron's original pilots. To start things off, the Typhoon was developed by Britain and Germany which were at war when No. 29 Squadron was formed. Additionally, the Typhoon flies at a maximum of 1,550 mph and has a range of 1,800 miles. Compare that to No. 29's original planes which topped out at 72 mph and had a range of just over 200 miles, and it's obvious things have come quite a ways in 100 years.
