The Junkers Ju 88 was plagued by problems during the development stage. The end result evolved into one of WWII's most impressive aircraft. It was very versatile, so the Luftwaffe adapted it for multiple uses, including bomber, heavy fighter and recon aircraft. Some models, like the A-8, were fitted with cable cutters that protected pilots from British barrage balloons. This limited edition kit features new balloon cable cutter and photo-etched parts.
