With an extensive fleet of vehicles, ranging from one tonne panic vans through to 44 tonne articulated curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, H.E. Payne specialises in transporting goods from ambient, chilled and frozen temperature ranges. The Company's roots date back to 1938 when Harry Edward Payne began as a coal merchant working a Morris Commercial 30cwt. Over the years the Company has changed with the times, recognising the need for food to be transported in a temperature controlled environment, and today operates from a five acre site at Wyboston next to the house where Harry Payne first started his business.
