These Gunships were used as troop carriers during the Clone War's and for tactical air support on the order's of the Galactic Republic. In the film Attack of the Clones one of these ships spectacularly saves Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Senator Amidala from the superior forces of the Seperatist Droids Army.
